Wow, what a fantastic week we have had for our Look Who’s Talking challenge! I am so proud of the children who took part in the show and tell…it has been fantastic to see and hear about the different items that our special to the children. We have all loved learning a class nursery rhyme too. Love, Mrs Payne Xx. P.s. Keep an eye out for more photos…
Wishing all our children and families a Happy New Year. We are very excited to be back at school and looking forward to our new topic this term…Once upon a time. We will be exploring and learning about a variety of stories and over the holidays our classroom has transformed to reflect our new topic. We have our very own deep, dark wood, a Gingerbread House and lots of characters from stories you may recognise!
Today we shared a party lunch and watched Mr Bananaman with the Nursery children. What a great day!! 🎄🎄🎄
We had a lovely time this week with the BBC let’s move programme. It had a lovely Christmas theme based on the poem….‘Twas the night before Christmas.’ The children had to listen carefully to the instructions and copy the actions. It also promoted some great pairs work. The children loved it!! 🎄
And so the Christmas season begins…
This week the children are making their very own Christmas bracelet…following on from the children’s threading interest.
We will then sell them to their parents…any left over will be sold at our Christmas fair on Saturday 25th November. Money raised will be spent on classroom resources. A direct benefit for the children.
Many thanks to those of you who attended our Teddy Bear’s Picnic this morning. With your help we raised £44 for Children in Need.
